About Aurora Blur
What is Aurora Blur?
Aurora Blur is a wellness brand for women in our 35-55 era — built around at-home rituals using thoughtfully sourced LED, EMS, RF, and recovery tools. Our products are not medical devices; they are wellness rituals designed to complement (not replace) your sleep, movement, and skincare routine.
Where are your products shipped from?
We ship within the United States. Most orders arrive within 5-12 business days depending on your location.
Are Aurora Blur products medical devices?
No. All Aurora Blur products are wellness comfort tools. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. For specific health concerns, consult your physician.
What's your return policy?
30-day return window from delivery date. Item must be in original condition with all packaging. Hygiene-sensitive items (cap liners, body trimmers) cannot be returned once opened. Contact care@aurorablur.com to initiate a return.
What's the warranty on your products?
12 months on all electronic devices against manufacturing defects. Consumable parts (liners, electrodes, attachment heads) covered for 90 days. Contact care@aurorablur.com for warranty claims.

LED & Red Light Therapy
What is red light therapy?
Red light therapy uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to support skin and cellular wellness. Research has studied wavelengths around 660nm (red) and 850nm (near-infrared) for various wellness applications. Aurora Blur's LED devices use these established wavelengths.
What's the difference between 660nm and 850nm?
660nm (red light) is generally associated with surface-level applications like skin radiance and scalp health. 850nm (near-infrared) penetrates deeper and is studied for muscle and joint applications. Many devices combine both for broader coverage. Read our complete guide on wavelengths.
Is LED therapy safe?
Generally yes, with proper use. Always follow product session times. Avoid LED therapy if you take photosensitizing medications, are pregnant, or have a history of skin cancer in the treatment area. Consult your physician if uncertain.
How long until I see results from LED therapy?
Results vary by individual, frequency, and what you're hoping to support. Most users report some change within 4-8 weeks of consistent use (3-5 sessions per week). LED therapy is not a quick fix — it's a long-term ritual.
Can I use red light therapy if I'm pregnant?
We recommend consulting your physician before using any LED therapy device during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
EMS & Microcurrent
What is EMS microcurrent?
EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) and microcurrent are technologies that deliver low-level electrical pulses to engage muscle fibers. The same principle is used in physical therapy clinics. Aurora Blur devices use consumer-safe SELV (Safety Extra-Low Voltage) levels.
What does EMS feel like?
At the lowest intensity: a gentle tingling or "tapping" sensation under the skin. Higher intensities feel like involuntary muscle engagement. Always start at the lowest intensity and build gradually.
Who should NOT use EMS devices?
Do not use EMS if you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or implanted electronic device. Also avoid if pregnant, breastfeeding, have epilepsy, severe heart conditions, current cancer, or metal implants in the target area. Always consult your physician first.
Can EMS help with weight loss?
No. EMS is not a weight loss tool. Weight management comes from sleep, nutrition, movement, and consistency — not electrical stimulation. Anyone claiming otherwise is misleading you.
How often can I use EMS devices?
Lower intensities: daily is fine. Higher intensities: 2-3 times per week per body area with rest days between sessions.
RF (Radio Frequency)
What is RF (Radio Frequency)?
RF uses radio-frequency energy to gently warm deeper layers of the skin. The same technology principle is used in clinic skin-tightening treatments. Aurora Blur RF devices (like LumiCrown Pro) use consumer-safe frequencies.
How is RF different from EMS?
RF uses thermal energy (heat) to support deeper skin tissue. EMS uses electrical pulses to engage muscles. They're often combined in premium beauty devices for layered benefit.
Does RF actually tighten skin?
Research suggests RF may support collagen response over time with consistent use. Visible results typically appear after 4-8 weeks of regular sessions. RF is not a substitute for in-clinic treatments or cosmetic procedures.
Hair & Scalp Care
Will Aurora Blur scalp tools regrow my hair?
Our scalp tools are wellness comfort devices. They are not medical hair-loss treatments. They may support scalp circulation as part of an overall hair care ritual, but they do not "treat" hair loss in the medical sense. For diagnosed hair loss conditions, consult a dermatologist.
Can men use ScalpRevive products?
Absolutely. Our scalp devices work on all hair types and genders. The ScalpRevive Pro Dual (Cap) is particularly popular with our male customers.
How often should I use a scalp massage device?
Most products recommend 3-5 sessions per week, 10-20 minutes per session. Specific guidance on each product page.
Can I use scalp tools with hair extensions, weaves, or color-treated hair?
Generally yes. For LED therapy, the light works through hair to reach the scalp. For wet hair treatments with heat caps (like ScalpBloom), use a barrier cap underneath for hygiene. Avoid heat treatments immediately after harsh chemical processing (relaxer, bleach) — wait 48 hours.
Body Recovery & Wellness
What's the difference between heat, EMS, and vibration recovery tools?
Heat = passive warmth, universally tolerated, good for daily comfort. Vibration = surface stimulation, amplifies other recovery practices. EMS = active electrical engagement of muscles, has contraindications. Read our complete recovery guide.
Which recovery tool should I start with?
Start with the area giving you the most discomfort. Wrist or ankle = VitaWarm Pro. Knee or shoulder = VitaJoint Pro. Neck = VitaPulse Neck Pro. One tool, used consistently for 4-6 weeks, then decide if you want to add.
Will these tools help with arthritis or chronic pain?
Aurora Blur products are wellness comfort tools, not medical devices. They are not intended to treat arthritis or any specific condition. If you have a diagnosed medical condition, consult your physician before use.
Are vibration plates safe?
For most healthy adults, yes — at appropriate intensities. Contraindications include pregnancy, pacemaker, severe osteoporosis, recent surgery, and certain other conditions. See the AuraVibe Pro safety section for full details.
Using Your Devices
How do I know which intensity level to start with?
Always start at the lowest setting on any device for the first 2-3 sessions. Build up gradually only as your body tolerates. Higher is not always better. Some users find Level 3-4 perfect for their daily ritual.
Can I use multiple Aurora Blur devices in the same session?
Yes, in many cases. For example: LumiPolish Pro for exfoliation, then LumiSculpt Pro for facial massage. Or VitaWarm Wrist while on the AuraVibe Pro. Check each product's safety guide.
How long do Aurora Blur device batteries last?
Varies by device. Most provide 5-15 sessions per full charge. Full specs on each product page. All charging cables (USB-C standard) are included.
Do your devices work with international voltage?
Most devices are universal (100-240V) and USB-rechargeable. Plug-in devices (like AuraVibe Pro) work on US standard outlets. For international travel, USB devices need only an adapter for your destination.
Safety & Medical Questions
Can I use Aurora Blur devices if I have a pacemaker?
EMS and RF devices are NOT safe for users with pacemakers, defibrillators, or implanted electronic devices. Heat-only devices may be okay — always consult your physician.
Can I use these during pregnancy?
We recommend avoiding all electrical wellness devices (EMS, RF, vibration, heat above gentle levels) during pregnancy. Always consult your physician.
What about cancer or chemotherapy?
Do not use Aurora Blur devices if you have a current or recent diagnosis of cancer without explicit clearance from your oncologist. Many wellness technologies are contraindicated during active treatment.
I have metal implants — can I use these devices?
EMS and RF devices should NOT be used over areas with metal implants, plates, or pins. Heat-only and gentle vibration devices may be acceptable — consult your physician for your specific situation.
What about Botox or fillers?
Wait at least 2 weeks after Botox or dermal filler injections before using face devices (LED, EMS, RF, ultrasonic). Vibration can affect product distribution.
