How to Use

Your 5-minute Smooth Ritual:

Step 1 — Choose Your Setting

  • Wet shave (in shower): Apply your favorite shave foam or body wash. Let skin soften in warm water for 2–3 minutes first.
  • Dry shave: Skin should be clean and completely dry. No lotion, no oil.

Step 2 — Select Your Blade Head

  • R-type (rounded): legs, underarms, arms — long glides
  • T-type (precision): fingers, upper lip, brow line — short, controlled strokes
  • U-shape with 0mm comb: bikini area — see Step 4

Step 3 — Activate Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. Check the LCD for battery level.

Step 4 — Glide

  • Legs and arms: Long upward strokes, against the direction of hair growth, light pressure
  • Underarms: Multi-directional, since hair grows in different directions here
  • Bikini: Use the U-shaped head. Glide WITH the direction of hair growth (not against) to minimize irritation. Use the 0mm comb for closest finish.
  • Fingers, upper lip, brow: Switch to T-type. Short, gentle strokes.

Step 5 — Rinse Hold the blade head under running water. Use the included cleaning brush for any residue.

Step 6 — Lock & Store Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to activate the travel lock. Air-dry the blade and body before storing.

Step 7 — The Ritual Continues This is the prep step. Now apply your body oil, body cream, or self-tan to skin that's freshly smooth. Everything absorbs better on prepared skin.

Frequency: As needed — typically 1–2 times per week for legs, more frequent for underarms and other areas.

Pro tip from our atelier: Replace the blade head every 4–6 months for best performance. Dull blades cause irritation, not the device.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

After every use:
Detach the blade head. Rinse under running water (the device is IPX6, but the blade rinses faster on its own). Use the included brush for any hair residue caught around the edges. Air-dry the blade and body completely before reattaching.
Weekly:
A drop of mild soap on the blade head, brushed gently, then rinsed. This keeps the blade gliding smoothly and extends its life.
Storage:

Always activate the travel lock before storing
Store in the velvet pouch in a dry place
Avoid storing in the bathroom long-term — humidity dulls blades faster
Make sure the blade is fully dry before storing

Charging:

Use only the supplied Type-C cable
A full charge takes ~2 hours
The LCD shows exact battery percentage
Avoid charging in damp environments
Don't overcharge — unplug when battery shows 100%

How to replace the blade head:

Rotate the blade clockwise to release
Lift the blade upward
Place the new blade in position
Rotate counterclockwise until you hear a "click"

When to replace:
Every 4–6 months with regular use. Sooner if you notice:

Tugging or pulling instead of clean glide
Increased irritation post-shave
Visible wear on blade edge

What to avoid:

Never submerge the device fully
Never use abrasive cleaners or alcohol-based wipes
Never share blade heads (hygiene)
Don't drop the device — blades can chip
Don't force the blade head — if it doesn't click, reposition

Battery health tip:
For longest battery life, recharge at ~20% rather than topping up after each use. A full discharge once every 2 months also helps battery calibration.
Warranty:

SilkGlide Pro is designed for safe, gentle body grooming on adult skin. Even so, please observe the following:

Do not use:

  • On broken, irritated, sunburned, or infected skin
  • Over moles, raised birthmarks, warts, or skin lesions
  • On open cuts, scrapes, or healing wounds
  • On the face (other than the upper lip area) — this is a body trimmer
  • On scalp or eyebrows — use a precision tool designed for those areas
  • Internally or in any cavity

Wait before using if you have recently:

  • Had laser hair removal (wait 1 week minimum, follow your technician's guidance)
  • Had a chemical peel or harsh exfoliation in the area (wait 5–7 days)
  • Sustained sunburn in the treatment area (wait until skin fully recovers)

Sensitive skin guidance:

  • Always glide with the direction of hair growth on bikini and other sensitive areas
  • Never press hard — let the device do the work
  • If you experience redness or irritation, stop and apply a soothing aloe or unscented moisturizer
  • Patch-test on a small area first if you have very reactive skin

General safety:

  • Always activate the travel lock before storing in any bag
  • Do not share the device or blade head with others — this is a personal hygiene tool
  • Keep the device fully charged for best performance — a low battery causes pulling, not cutting
  • Replace blade heads every 4–6 months with regular use (sooner if you notice tugging)
  • Do not use while charging
  • Keep away from children
  • Not intended for children under 18

While the device is IPX6 waterproof:

  • Safe for shower use and rinsing under running water
