Targeted Mode

Position over a specific area (knee, hip, back) for focused treatment without committing to full body. The fabric construction conforms to body contours that rigid panels can't reach.

Three wavelength modes

• R (660nm) — Red light. Surface skin and connective tissue applications.

How to Use

Your 20-Minute LumiMat Ritual

Step 1 — Choose Your Use Mode
Decide based on what you're doing in the next 20 minutes:

• Lay-down mode — for focused relaxation, meditation, or end-of-day wind-down
• Wearable mode — for active tasks while treating shoulder, waist, or back
• Targeted mode — for specific area focus (knee, hip, lower back)

Step 2 — Prepare the Area
Skin should be clean. If applying oils or serums first, consider using the transparent PVC film barrier (included) to keep the mat clean.

Step 3 — Power On the Controller
Plug in the controller via the included adaptor (100-240V universal). Press power button. Default starts at P1 brightness, R+IR mode, 30-minute timer.

Step 4 — Choose Your Wavelength Mode
Press the mode button to cycle:
R (660nm) → IR (850nm) → R+IR (combined)

Step 5 — Choose Your Light Delivery Mode
Press the gear button to cycle:
E01 (constant) → E02 (10Hz pulse) → E03 (40Hz pulse)

Step 6 — Set Brightness
Press up/down arrows to cycle P1 → P5. First-time users: stay at P1-P2 for first 3 sessions.

Step 7 — Set Timer
Press clock button to choose 10, 20, or 30 minutes. Auto-shutoff at session end.

Step 8 — Position the Mat
Lay it on bed, floor, or couch. Or wrap with stretchy straps around target body area. The LEDs should face your skin (or face up if you're lying on them).

Step 9 — Relax
Settle in. Read, work, listen to your podcast, or close your eyes.

Step 10 — Auto-Shutoff
Timer ends and the mat powers off automatically. Unplug, allow to cool 10 minutes, store.

Frequency Guidelines

• Daily use is fine at P1-P3 brightness
• Higher intensities (P4-P5): 3-5 sessions per week with rest days
• Maximum single session: 30 minutes (enforced by timer)
• Wait 2-3 hours between back-to-back sessions on same area

Do NOT use if you:

• Have or suspect you may have cancer or tumors (do not use over malignant or benign lesions)
• Are pregnant, suspect you may be pregnant, or are planning pregnancy
• Are breastfeeding or planning to begin breastfeeding
• Have a history of epilepsy or seizures triggered by flashing lights (pulse modes especially)
• Have a light-sensitivity condition (Lupus, light-induced migraines, certain eczema, albinism, rosacea)
• Take photosensitizing medications (some antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs, certain allergy medications, certain pain medications, diuretics) — consult your physician
• Have known sensitivity to red light or near-infrared light
• Take steroid medication, use topical steroids, or receive steroid injections
• Are under 18 years old

Wait before using if you have recently:

• Had surgery, LASIK or PRK eye surgery, or skin filler injections
• Had breast implants or other recent medical procedures in the treatment area
• Have a tattoo in the treatment area (consult tattoo artist for healing guidelines)

Avoid combining with products that may cause photosensitivity:

• Citrus essential oils on treated skin
• St. John's Wort supplements
• Antibacterial soap residue on treated skin
• Coal tar or petroleum products on treated skin

Pulse mode warning:

10Hz and 40Hz pulse modes involve rapid light flashing that may affect users susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy. If you or anyone in your household has ever experienced symptoms related to epilepsy (seizures or loss of consciousness when exposed to flashing lights), consult your physician before using pulse modes.

If you experience dizziness, blurred vision, eye twitching, muscle twitching, disorientation, involuntary movements, or any unusual sensation while using pulse mode, stop immediately and consult your physician.

Critical use rules:

• Always start at lowest brightness (P1) for first 2-3 sessions
• Never look directly into the LEDs at close range
• For face use, wear LED protective glasses (sold separately)
• Do not use over open wounds, bleeding skin, or infected areas
• Do not use directly on the throat (front of neck)
• Do not use directly over the eyes
• Do not use while bathing or showering
• Keep liquids away from the controller and adaptor
• Use only the supplied power adapter
• Always inspect the mat, controller, and cable for damage before each use
• Do not modify, disassemble, or attempt to repair
• Wait 2-3 hours between consecutive 30-minute sessions on same area
• Discontinue if you experience pain, dizziness, persistent redness, or skin irritation
• Keep away from children and infants

Care & Maintenance

After Each Use

Turn off, unplug, and allow the mat to completely cool (10 minutes) before storing or cleaning.

Cleaning

• Wipe the mat surface with a soft, dry cloth only
• For oil or sweat residue, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth (just water — no soap)
• Do not use abrasive, corrosive, solvent, or chemical cleaners
• Do not use harsh detergents
• Do not allow water or other liquids to contact the LEDs or controller
• Do not immerse any part in water
• The transparent PVC film can be wiped with mild soap and water

Storage

• Fold the mat carefully — never crease against the LED grid
• Store in the original box if possible
• Disconnect the controller and adaptor before storage
• Store in a cool, dry, indoor location
• Avoid direct sunlight and humid environments
• Do not place objects on top of the mat

Power & Operation Safety

• Use only the supplied power adaptor
• Use only standard 100-240V wall outlets
• Inspect cables and connectors for damage before each use
• Unplug immediately during power failures
• Do not leave the mat running unattended

Warranty
